Making a Name for Ourselves
Download this episode (38 min)
It is natural, when living in the flesh, for people to want to make a name for themselves. Christianity, however, teaches just the opposite. The Bible teaches that men of this world are to become children of God. That masters of slaves become slaves to their heavenly Master. And, that if you want to be greatest (exalted) in the kingdom, you must become the least (humbled) while living in this world.

Welcome to "Sermons by Mitch Davis" blog. I have a strong desire to preach the whole counsel of God's word through the gospel of Jesus Christ. Too many are preaching a biased gospel message to "fit in" with a group rather than the rich teachings of Jesus Christ. My goal is to teach the simple and pure gospel of Jesus and Him crucified. Such preaching is despised by so many today, yet it is the pure and simple gospel that is the power of God unto salvation to all who believe (Rom. 1:16-17)!
I invite you to come and worship with us at 1348 Hwy 92 South, Fayetteville, GA 30215. You are invited to worship with us if you're in our area.
