A good word study not only increases your knowledge of God's word, it opens your mind of faith to see the true (spiritual) light of God's word, not the limited shadows that are left to the flesh. Such is the case as begin a short two-part series looking at the word "Hebrew" and in the following lesson "Zion". Together, we can see God's scheme of redemption shadowed in the Old Testament and brought to light for a Christian's understanding today.

Welcome to "Sermons by Mitch Davis" blog. I have a strong desire to preach the whole counsel of God's word through the gospel of Jesus Christ. Too many are preaching a biased gospel message to "fit in" with a group rather than the rich teachings of Jesus Christ. My goal is to teach the simple and pure gospel of Jesus and Him crucified. Such preaching is despised by so many today, yet it is the pure and simple gospel that is the power of God unto salvation to all who believe (Rom. 1:16-17)!
