Many often associate the Sabbath with the Old Testament covenant God had with the Hebrews. Many today regard don't think much of it because Christians today are not under the Old Testament. What many fail to observe is how the understanding of the Sabbath serves a great significance for Christians today.

Welcome to "Sermons by Mitch Davis" blog. I have a strong desire to preach the whole counsel of God's word through the gospel of Jesus Christ. Too many are preaching a biased gospel message to "fit in" with a group rather than the rich teachings of Jesus Christ. My goal is to teach the simple and pure gospel of Jesus and Him crucified. Such preaching is despised by so many today, yet it is the pure and simple gospel that is the power of God unto salvation to all who believe (Rom. 1:16-17)!
