You Are The Light of the World

Disciples are in fact the light of the world, receiving this very light from the "Light of the world" - Jesus, our Savior. Living to the glory of God we (the Lord's disciples) will so shine our lights that those living in this dark world of sin will be able to see God's saving grace.

Welcome to "Sermons by Mitch Davis" blog. I have a strong desire to preach the whole counsel of God's word through the gospel of Jesus Christ. Too many are preaching a biased gospel message to "fit in" with a group rather than the rich teachings of Jesus Christ. My goal is to teach the simple and pure gospel of Jesus and Him crucified. Such preaching is despised by so many today, yet it is the pure and simple gospel that is the power of God unto salvation to all who believe (Rom. 1:16-17)!
