Today's Christians living in prosperous conditions like the U.S. have little understanding or true awareness of the obedience God strongly desires of His people. The biblical examples serve to heighten our awareness and employ a more faithful practice of obedience that glorifies our God.

Welcome to "Sermons by Mitch Davis" blog. I have a strong desire to preach the whole counsel of God's word through the gospel of Jesus Christ. Too many are preaching a biased gospel message to "fit in" with a group rather than the rich teachings of Jesus Christ. My goal is to teach the simple and pure gospel of Jesus and Him crucified. Such preaching is despised by so many today, yet it is the pure and simple gospel that is the power of God unto salvation to all who believe (Rom. 1:16-17)!
